Bob has been busy with our car between the Holidays. You can see the embossed areas on the sheet metal, it gives a very neat appearance to the piece, looks very nice. Once the entire interior is painted it will have the same appearance as the Gurney Cuda.
I feel as though this is going to be a very classy car, one that will be seen as an example of how a race car should be built, and hopefully run!
Here you can see the new fuel cell mounting and reinforced area in the trunk, if you look closely at that photo you can see the bar running under the box frame to the rear of the car, that is the protection for the cell from under the rear of the car. All of the open area that you can see in that photos will be closed in with sheet metal, all the templates for that area are made just not cut out yet.
